Dear local Government,

How are you all, good I hope. My name is Yesica, and I would like to propose a new holiday called “Children’s day” In honor of the kids who has died in the past with out knowing what there future would have been like. After the horrible tragic event in 2001 when the world trade center collapse many adults died but also many babies and kids died. Now the most horrifying event that has happened this year in 2012 are the shooting of many kids and teens in the movie theater also one sad story, and the recently shooting that took place in Connecticut, were 20 kids in a elementary school lost there life cause of a gunshot that in less than seconds took there life’s.

My purpose of this holiday is to honor every kids life and to lead them on, into a greater future. I am a 17 year old girl and I absolutely love kids of any age from babies, to tootlers, pre teens and teens. I believe that the children are our future for a better tomorrow and is our goal to teach them well and let them lead the way. It is up to us adults to teach them the great thing they can offer to others. The day of this holiday can take place on the first day of summer. This also holiday should also have a song, it can be “The greatest love of All” by Whitney Huston.

I personally can be in charge of this event held on the first day of summer. My helpers can be my family, teachers and any parents that will like to make a day for there kids. Everybody can be invited in especially teens and kids children and Adults, elderly because there’s nothing more satisfying then seeing a kid laugh and be happy.

This event can take place at any community school or the park at your local place.
The activities that will be held in this even would be sports games, such as soccer basketball, kickball, and races of all ages. Rides for teens, and bounty houses for kids. Also Costumes can be placed up of all the cartoons there is in cartoon network, Disney channel, Disney Jr, nick Jr, and nickelodeon. For the decorations, it can be a different even every year.

He tied his boat off and started to climb the cliffs. He knew that no one had lived to tell what was behind the cloud, but he climbed. John was a man of "Do it now, or never" attitude. Every adventure that past buy his head he was going do it. There was no one in earth that will convince him other wise. No matter how dangerous it was, he did not care the risk nor what will happen before, in between and after this crazy adventure.

John Rodriguez was a young man with only 21 years living. He was an outstanding guy with a grate personality and a great future. When john was 15 years old he came to discover that he had cancer, the doctors told him he did not have much to time to live. john was very devastative and fell into a great depression for like almost a year, but me as his crazy older sister always had the right ideal of how to make him smile or happy. We both realized that he had not time left so i decided to propose to him to make all his dream come true no matter how crazy they were we will do it!

i remember our first trip was to Africa, he wanted to go crazy ones we got there. That's where he wanted to go. we took pictures and live out of nature for at least 3 year. His favorite animals were monkeys, he loved living with monkeys and always feeding them, it was like him and this monkey he named Joan were best friend we even took the monkey back home with us. The only thing he did not like about our trip was that he couldn’t get close to lions, he loved lions I remember him saying "Yesica, lions are the king of the kingdom and one day i will be the king of my kingdom." smart kid ill say, but for john Just seeing them was enough satisfy so he can take pictures of them. one crazy thing we was able to do was ride an elephant. My dear brother loved the movie Tarzan so ever sense he was small he wanted to be like him as well so that’s what we did we lived that Tarzan life.

December 26, the day after Christmas was his birthday and every year the family would give him different supplies cause they new he was an explore. so every year he enjoyed. I remember that one birthday he came up to me and he said "Yesica, i want to climb that mountain that nobody has ever lived to tell the story" My reaction was horrify , i rejected i refused to loose my brother sooner then ever. But there was nobody to stopped him i had promise to take him too make his dream come true. I told him i was going to go with him and he said no its to much for me and that incase he did not come back he wanted me to live and go on with my future. something about that day left me with a drought and worried.

few months past and me and him planned to go to mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world were many tried climbing but never came down to tell .ones we got there we peddled in a boat to were it is he said this trip will take him about 3 to four week, so i waited those 3-4 week down at the bottom of this mountain. before we left i found john saying his finals good-bye as if he was leaving for ever, i even remember him telling out little twin sister Nathalie and Angelica to promise to always stick together and love each other trough everything, i cried a little.

so we went on...

He knew that no one had lived to tell what was behind the cloud, but he climbed. i waited a few weeks and no signs of john i waited 5 weeks more than a month. i was getting worried so ask for help. by the time help came my brother came down and sat on the floor hugged me and whisper in my ears and said "i love you and thank you for everything." and there he was in my arms no more words to be said, breathing his final breath ,just holding a camera.

Symbolism in everyday life is during our dreams.

             BLOODY
It was the worst nightmares ever! There was a time were I latterly spent like almost a month dreaming with the same things over and over. My dreams at time would change sometimes the setting were my dream took place and sometimes, the characters in my dream would change. but this dream only consist of one thing and it was blood. The first thing that came to my mind after a week of dreaming with blood not necessary dead people but just blood I thought that my dreams was telling me that somebody close or far was going to soon die, I was not as wrong.

My dream symbolizes blood and maybe was trying to warn me that somebody was going to have a very bloody accident. a week after I stopped dreaming with blood my grandmother cousin was involved in an accident and this bloody dream was the same thing but just a different person but he is now okay. Nobody died, just like in my bloody dreams nobody died also.

A peace of literature that I red my sophomore year was Fences by August Wilson. The title fences had nothing to do with the story nor it involve fences. This book was about a boy who loved playing baseball. In this book he described fences or used the word fences like a imaginary shield to protect his family from bad, and especially from death. He only wanted protection for his both some and daughter and wife. Fence symbolize what he created around his family and him self in order to protect them.
