Alex lost! :o

#1
Happiness is being home again,
Happiness is walking in the rain.
Happiness is waking with no pain.
Happiness to see my humble home,
Happiness at not being alone,
Happiness to sit, and not to roam.

Happiness is family to me,
Happiness in the faces, I longed to see,
Happiness is once more being free.
                                                                                                     - Juan Olivarez

  • This poems has the right ideal of happiness. Happiness is something everyone wants to have, somethis McCandless though he would find. You may be successful and have a lot of money, but without family, your home, or any companion it will be meaningless.

  • Alex , towards the end of his journey into the wild realize, that after all, he was not happy. Alex soon wanted to go back home, be with his family. After he already knew what he really wanted it was already to late. Alex realize Happiness is family to him, Happiness is being home again, Happiness at not being alone, Happiness only real when shared.” McCanndless ideal of happiness turned out to be the complete opposite. Went into the wild and never came back, died completely alone.

  • This poem state we Alex ended up, completely lost. Alex wasn’t completely lost because he did know what exactly he wanted. Soon after he realize that what he wanted once before was not what he really wanted at the end he was completely lost then. Alex was lost in his thought, lost with out love, lost in the way of life and the worst part nobody that he ever knew as a child, knew were he was so he really was lost, to everybody else. He was lost in this world and lost in his ideal of world. Lost! Lost! LOST!
