MLK

We today take for granted the rights that many people like Martin Luther King fought for. In the speech DR. King gave right before he was killed he said "And I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight that we as a people will get to the promised land." Dr.King wanted equality hoped that one day everybody would join together as one nation. He dreamed that all men, woman and children come together get along with out looking at each others gender, raise, color or religion. If Martin Luther king were to come in class tomorrow he will be okay with what he sees but not as proud.

If Martin Luther King were still a live and see what he has accomplished he would be satisfy. He will see that in our class we are one nation and that we are getting along. 40 years ago colored people was not allowed to learn or even go to the same school as white people. today in our class we see all type of different raised and cultures all mixed together and we are from different  places. through the years we have learned to put our difference aside to get along we are even having kids in this generation from two different raise.

Although Dr. King will be satisfy with what he see he will not be proud of what goes on within our lives. Its true we are all together living within each other but there's so many wrong things with life's now and days and that's what plenty people mean for how we take for granted  many things that people 40 years ago fought for. In our generation you will see many people fighting, making raises comments. We live with many violence within our streets. things in the street are so bad that in the news you will always see black people killing black people Spanish people killing Spanish people, and sometimes you might even see people killing people for either being a certain raise or from a certain country even homosexual. its very sad what you see now in days in the news and even with your own eyes. Dr. King did not want this.

One big thing Dr. King will not be proud if he were to walk in our class is too see many teens take for granted that most of this world did not have the privileged of having education. right now going to school is mandatory thing for every kid. 40 years ago plenty of us did not have the privileged to go to school maybe because you was a specific color or from a country or as many would say immigrant. in my school they are many kids that do not  take education serious. all they do is fool around thinking they cool and when is to late or they at risk they want to worry. education was one thing Martin Luther King fought for everybody can do it with out paying a lot amount of money.

If Martin Luther King were to walk in my class first thing I would personalty give him thank you because he was one became the change that he wanted to see. Because of him many people were inspired and now we have our first African american president and he has been a great president. He wont be as proud but he will be satisfy that his dream of becoming one nation and seeing that many of us have put our differences aside to make a more peaceful future with our flaws.
